Ronald H. Johnson, M.D. obtained his undergraduates degree from John Hopkins University and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Dr. Johnson has successfully treated thousands of pilots for first, second, and third class certification. Many airmen who present to our office have other medical comorbidities such as high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, or diabetes. At the offices of Ronald H. Johnson, M.D. we are happy to work in conjunction with your primary treating physician to help you obtain medical certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. We are very well-versed in treating the airmen who has multiple medical issues.

What to expect at our office

Your initial visit to our office will take approximately 60 to 90 minutes. This visit is designed to obtain an in-depth medical history review, physical examination, urine specimen collection, and vision testing. If needed, an electrocardiogram, EKG, will be performed to assess your cardiac status. If you have had any laboratory work that must be submitted to the FAA please be certain this has been done prior to coming in for your examination.

We do not process insurance forms in our office. If you are seeking insurance reimbursement we can provide you with an itemized statement to submit to your insurance company. You are welcome to pay with Visa, MasterCard, or cash. Please visit our Insurance page for more information.
